On Tuesday, a very special tour guide took me on an extra special tour: William showed me around Royal Mile Primary School during Meet the Teacher Night. Each morning, I wish him a good day as he sets off for school with Katie dressed in his uniform: a white polo shirt, red pullover and dark slacks, so it was neat to get to see where he spends his days. Katie and I got to meet his teachers and take a tour of the building including his classroom and desk, the coat rack where he hangs his coat and bag, the library and a large mural completed by his class. We heard nothing but good things from his teachers (including a kind reminder for him to take home his homework) and were impressed with his informative and thorough tour. It was certainly a very proud moment as a godmother.
