Matt on the Great Wall of China
Today is Matt's birthday - I had planned to surprise him with a cake decorated with Jedi master figurines, but he surprised me by coming home early from the clinic. I'm glad he got the afternoon off though, because he deserves it! It's a lot different from last year when he spent his birthday on call and I surprised him with a cake the next day before he headed to bed. Tonight, we are going to celebrate with the Snyders at Macaroni Grill and tomorrow we are going to Sushi Zen to celebrate birthdays for Katherine, Matt and me since they fall within a two-week spread. I'm looking forward to both dinners and think they will be a fun way to start the weekend!
